Incorporated in 1989, RAK Ceramics within a short span of just over ten years firmly established itself as one of the world's leading producers of high quality ceramic wall and floor tiles, gres porcellanato, and sanitaryware. The company is located 20 km south of Ras Al Khaimah city along the highway to Dubai. It takes about an hour drive from Dubai Airport to reach the company.

At present, the company's products are being exported to more than 135 countries across 5 continents. RAK Ceramics started its operations with one production line in June 1991 with an output of 5000 sq.m. per day. With continued expansion programs sophisticated machinery from the world leaders in Ceramic technology Such as Sacmi, Barbieri & Tarrozzi.RAK Ceramics presently has 18 production lines, 14 kilns and 16 large presses engaged in the production of 112,000 sq.m. per day of ceramic/gres porcellanato tiles. Moreover, two presses and three kilns are being used exclusively to produce special items like decors, listellos, skirtings, etc.
