The firm was formally established in the year 1999. The early years between 1996-98 were spent operating from a small room within the residential premises of the co-founders who are architects and also husband and wife. It was their common vision that got them together and helped them through the early years. Early projects primarily consisted of medium sized residential and commercial projects.

To realize the dream for a creative art studio which is a sacred haven for all who work there or come for a visit, we moved to our present premises in Al Quoz within a warehouse precinct. It was here that a creative stimulating environment for bringing out the best in each individual was established. The projects diversified as we rapidly grew, because we long abandoned the notion that architects and designers design and builders build. The firm at present handles restaurants, corporate offices, retail showrooms, residential projects, landscape designs, religious projects, exhibitions, clubs and resorts. A team of enthusiastic young urban designers, architects, interior designers and artists together perform to excel in each endeavor that they undertake.

"Intarch is the acronym for Interiors + Architecture, Int+Arch". It was derived from the diversified backgrounds of our team members and also because of the variety of projects that we handle. It is a unified symbol of us together as an association.
