The world's largest kitchen and bathroom exhibition to take place in Dubai from 14 to 16 May.

ISH Kitchen and Bathroom 2006, the world's largest bathroom and kitchen exhibition, is set to take place on 14th – 16th May, Dubai World Trade Centre. To date demand to exhibit has increased by close to 40% since last years show. Some of the world’s most talented designers will be attending. Over the past ten years growth in the Middle East has increased at an incredible rate; be it tourism, retail outlets and property development. Dubai International Airport process over 20 million passengers. Around US$23 billion will be spent on more than 500 hotels in the Gulf. Dubai is an extremely attractive location to visitors from across the globe as a holiday destination or an investment.

The developments taking place in the Arabian Gulf states are huge; an estimated US$200 billion will be spent on construction alone over the next five years. In Dubai there are the 3 Palm Islands and The World, in Bahrain the Two Seas project and the Pearl Qatar. All these aspects signify demand for sanitary products, the necessity to have a bathroom and kitchen! ISH Kitchen and Bathroom embraces the finest, high end, luxurious and extravagant products and designs on the market. So far already signed up are some of the industry’s leading players.

Victoria and Albert Baths, from the UK, who attended the 2005 show, were so happy with the outcome they have confirmed their stand at the 2006. Joe Matthews, Managing Director says, “ The Middle East is certainly an area of opportunity for those brands who have unique and original designs that incorporate modern styles and fashion, I am sure ISH Kitchen and Bathroom 2006 will be even more successful than 2005”. Another UK contender is Clearwater who state, “The Middle East has been a very buoyant market and continues to strip other world economies. Clearwater have benefited from exhibiting in Dubai as part of its overseas development”. Swiss based Duscholux, who are one of the world's largest manufactures of shower enclosures, with over 30 years of experience, will be showing their range of engineered shower enclosures, shower valves, shower trays and bath shapes, in a selection of sizes. Dusholux operate in over 30 countries.

Other sanitary exhibitors are Egyptian based Lecico, who are a leading producer of export quality Sanitaryware in the Middle East. Spanish based Reserban, manufacturers of quality shower enclosures, whose products are sold throughout the Eastern Med and Middle East. From Italy Teuco, who for more than three decades have been researching the best ways to harness the energy of water, through this research they have developed hydro spa, all glass showers, whirlpool and ultrasound massage. As well as leading sanitary specialists, visitors who attend ISH Kitchen and Bathroom 2006 will see products and services from the world’s leading Kitchen designers. Some examples of these are Poggenpohl, based in Germany and Dubai, Solico who deal in high-end brands such as Neff Kitchens and Viking Appliances, Allmilmo and Siematic. With all the property and tourism developments, as well as being the commercial hub of the UAE, Dubai is the perfect station for an exhibition such as ISH Kitchen and Bathroom.
