Fire fighters with a focus on instructional services will gather in Manama, Bahrain on May 6th for the 2006 edition of the Fire Department Instructor’s Conference (FDIC) – the region’s top training event for fire fighters engaged in municipal and structural fire fighting, as well as those from the petroleum, industrial and marine sectors.

A stellar lineup drawn from Bahrain’s industrial and public safety leadership will keynote this year’s FDIC, including General Abdul Latif Al Zayani – General Directorate of Civil Defence, Dr. Mustafa Al Zayed - CEO, BAPCO, and Mr. Abdullah Al-Ghamdi - Executive Director, Safety & Industrial Security, Saudi Aramco.

Fire service training leaders from across the globe will share new and advanced firefighting and rescue methods in a series of ten, brand new, hands on training (HOT) modules. Conference attendees are anticipating the event will substantially enhance their ability to strengthen the readiness and response levels of their departments.
