Contracts signed by the Arabtec/Max Bögl Joint Venture have reached US$ 360 million.

Arabtec/Max Bögl Joint Venture signed two contracts with Dubai Sports City (DSC) to carry out two stadia with a total value of 226 million. The work includes the design and construction of a 60,000 seat Multipurpose Outdoor Stadium, and the construction of a 10,000 seat Multipurpose Indoor Stadium at Dubai Sports City. These contracts bring the total value of Arabtec/Max Bögl Joint Venture contracts to Us$ 360 million.

The Joint Venture has signed a contract amounting to US$ 76 million during September 2006 to carry out the Cargo Terminal Building Works at the Dubai World Central International Airport, Jebel Ali. It has also signed two contracts during February 2007 to carry out the Passenger Terminal Structural Works and Air Traffic Control Tower in Dubai World Central International Airport, Jebel Ali.

Contracts signed by the Arabtec/Max Bögl Joint Venture have reached US$ 360 million.

Mr. Riad Kamal, Managing Director of Arabtec Holding PJSC said, 'These projects represent a landmark in Arabtec projects portfolio, as it shows diversification in Arabtec activities to include non residential projects. 'The construction duration of the Multipurpose Outdoor Stadium is a great challenge because of the very tight duration for the Design and Build project which will require the full support and cooperation of all concerned authorities', Mr. Kamal added.

Arabtec/Max Bögl Joint Venture was formed equally between Arabtec Construction LLC and the German Company Max Bögl. Founded in 1929 by Max Bögl, the group based in Neumarkt, Germany, can look back upon a successful company history of more than 75 years.

With annual sales in 2006 of Euro 1 billion and more than 5,000 staff worldwide, Max Bögl is not only to be found among the top 5 of German construction companies, in its third generation it is also the largest privately owned construction company in Germany.
