Aggreko plc, global leader in providing temporary power generation and temperature control services, was contracted by the Dubai World Trade Centre to supply temperature control equipment and services for the 2007 Dubai International Boat Show. This is the fourth consecutive year that Aggreko has provided its specialist expertise for the exhibition of leisure boats, equipment and services in the Middle East.

Under the contract, Aggreko supplied temperature control equipment services for the five-day event. The equipment was set up to cool three interconnected exhibition marquees each measuring 80x75x6 meters, 80x50x6 meters and 80x30x6 meters. Aggreko engineers and technicians carefully designed and developed a solution for the client that aimed at maintaining the internal temperature at 23 - 25ºC and utilised a fifty percent return air method to increase the efficiency of cooling.

Aggreko equipment was installed and commissioned alongside the installation of the marquees to deliver cooling and temperature control in time for the event opening. It was their ability to set up the equipment in this short time period which led to their selection.
