Al Gurg Leigh Paints completes prestigious projects worth more than US$4 million.

Leading manufacturers of decorative and protective coatings, Al Gurg Leigh Paints (AGLP), recently completed major projects worth more than US$4 million to supply quality exterior paint to Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai Mall Hotel, Jumeirah Lake Towers and Capital Towers.
The projects, which began last year, involved Weathershield exterior anti-carbonation coatings which were used to shield the towers exteriors. With its well known track record in the region, the Dulux team was awarded the project for its technical skills and ability to provide high-performance, cost-effective and durable coating solutions.

Designed to withstand the Gulf’s harsh climate and high temperatures Challawala says the product’s superior anti–carbonation properties are well suited to combat high temperatures, extreme exposure to harmful ultra–violet rays, moisture and fine cracks.
Available in several smooth and texture finishes, Weathershield provides up to a 15 year guarantee for external durability. “Moreover, the paint does not contain any added lead or mercury, making the product environment-friendly,” he continued.

ICI Dulux only use highly skilled professional painters to apply Dulux Weathershield range of paints to ensure details of safety, economy and effectiveness. Also, Weathershield is approved by the British Board of Agreement in the UK and is the first company in the UAE to manufacture decorative coatings.

Other projects using Dulux Weathershield exterior paints include BurJuman Shopping Centre, Dubai Outsource City, Arabian Ranches, villas in the Meadows and Springs complex as well as Al Mafraq Hospital, Abu Dhabi.
