Hochtief builds on Siemens.

The international construction-related service provider Hochtief has awarded Siemens IT Solutions and Services a follow-up order for the group's desktop services. The contract is set to run for five years and focuses particularly on the German-speaking countries.

Siemens IT Solutions and Services has been providing support for the desktop services for currently 7,500 Hochtief users in Germany, Austria and Luxembourg since 2004. In the future, this figure is to be extended to include international Hochtief projects as well.

The range of services provided also includes application management for software products, all the way from pure office applications through to construction-specific CAD applications. A telephone hotline is available to support Hochtief employees in the event of technical problems. In addition, Siemens IT Solutions and Services provides the LAN services for the desktops, initially for locations and projects in Germany, Austria and Luxembourg.
