Children have been showing their mothers how much they love them by inventing a unique colour especially for her on Valentines Day. Visitors to the Dulux Decorator Centre on The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence were able to design a one-off colour by mixing together a combination of the thousands of shades available. The youngsters then took their very own pretty pinks and ruby reds home to paint Valentines Day cards for their Mums.
It has been such good fun all of the children really enjoyed selecting their own personal colours, said Sunil Gudur, Chief Manager, Al Gurg Paints. We wanted to offer something for the children on Valentines Day and showing them how to create their very own colours was perfect. They also got to learn about how the mixing machines work and how combining colours creates new shades,
Every child who came into the store was able to pick the different colours they liked and load them into the mixing machine to see the results. The new colours were given names by the children, which included Pamela Pink, Mums Mix and Valentines Day Violet.
It was a lovely surprise, said one mother visiting the store. We came in to look at buying some new colours for our apartment and it was a really nice that the children were able to enjoy the experience.
