APM802 : power plants under control !

 

Entirely developed by SDMO® to improve performance and increase user-friendliness, and to meet market needs, the new APM802 command/control system is dedicated to the running and monitoring of power plants, in all domains: data centres, hospitals, banks, industry, petrol and gas extraction, and also the rental market, IPP, mines...

The unit has been designed based on the foundations which made its predecessor such a success. However, the latest in SDMO®'s range of control/command units is born from a real determination to innovate.

The APM802 is available on SDMO® generating sets, from 220 kVA. The human-machine interface, designed in collaboration with a company specialising in interactive design, facilitates the running of the power plant thanks to its large 12’ fully touch screen, which makes it intuitive and easy to use.

So the user can easily get to grips with it, and to limit the risk of errors, he or she is guided by predefined profiles: user, operator or specialist. A robust product, specially adapted to the generating set environment, the APM802 retains the same highly practical modularity as its predecessor, and is also compatible with it, for power plant extensions.

The system preconfigured for power plant applications has a completely new customisation function for customers using the normalised LADDER language, compliant with the international IEC61131-3 standard, which enables programming with symbols.

Finally, remote supervision from a tablet, Smartphone or laptop, integrated Ethernet communication and the communication ring redundancy option make access to information and the transmission of data considerably easier: the APM802 can also create screenshots directly on the built-in USB interface, allowing more accurate fault finding and data analysis.
