These are just some of the great contemporary and past designers who have lended their art to ceramics, creating hand-produced collections or collections using the most sophisticated technologies in decoration. These are international designers who have reported their view of the world through images capable of taking life thanks to ceramic, a material which has left behind the status of being purely a functional covering to become an essential element of interior decoration. These are visions which are scaled in single or serial pieces, or capable of paying homage to tradition by re-editions of old majolica, which can be reproduced using the same techniques as were used in the past.
