Cosentino Group Introduce Dekton Ultra Compact Surface

World famous Spanish surface specialist Cosentino Group has introduced an ultra compact surface by the name of Dekton. www.dekton.com

Dekton frees the imaginations of architects and designers by introducing an almost unlimited set of finishes and textures from wood, leather, denim, any solid colour to steel and natural stone patterns in a 3D full-bodied design.

Dekton uses a mixture of inorganic materials and can be used for exterior as well as all interior applications, from flooring, cladding, vanities, countertops, to ventilated panels. It is ideal flooring for high traffic public areas being rated as number 7 on the Mohs scale, as well as ventilated façades to even swimming pools.

Dekton can take more than 800°C of continuous exposure, and is UV-resistant, non-porous and resistant to impact. Dekton is designed to respond to architect demands for large formats in different thicknesses from 8mm to 3cm, with the possibility of using a full slab of 320cm x 144cm as one tile with only 2mm joint. Dekton is a maintenance-free surface which is scratch and stain resistant, with a 0.02% absorption rate. It has been tested in third-party laboratories in Europe and the UAE according to the ASTM codes.
