Now in its 14th edition, FM EXPO will return from 17 - 19 September 2019 to Dubai World Trade Centre under the theme ‘Transforming the Facilities Management Landscape’, in response to reports that the local market is due a rapid shift in direction.

Vice President at dmg events Construction Division, Nick Powell, said: “The value of the global facilities management industry is expected to be worth USD 945 billion by 2025. While North America represents the best established FM market today, the Middle Eastern market will show the fastest growth over the next six years.”

Powell referred to The Future of Facilities Management report released by global consulting firm and FM EXPO Industry Intelligence Partner, Frost & Sullivan. The report reveals that leading in the local market will soon depend on how well firms can expand their service portfolios while maintaining performance.

“Traditional FM services will soon become insufficient due to evolving customer expectations, and stakeholders will be forced to redefine their value proposition in order to maintain their presence in the marketplace,” said Powell.

To ensure the local market is fully equipped to embrace the coming change in client demand, FM EXPO 2019 will return with an extended product variety set to cover Technology, Specialized Support Services, Cleaning Services, Waste and Recycling and Energy Management.

Abhay Bhargava, Director of Industrial Practice at Frost & Sullivan reflected on the range of products on show: “When we consider the cross industry convergence happening in the sector, FM EXPO stands out as the perfect platform that allows multiple organizations to come in from different streams to talk about their unique best practices and to exchange views.”

Exhibitors already signed that will showcase their latest products at FM EXPO 2019 include Ejadah Asset Management Group, Boecker, FSI Limited, ZOLL, Evac+Chair and Dussmann Service Middle East.

To capitalize on the expanding disciplines of the facilities management industry, FM EXPO will also host the second edition of the Waste & Recycling Summit. Visitors will be able to profit from the free-to-attend and certified FM Forum talks on offer too.

Prabhu Ramachandran, Founder CEO of returning exhibitor Facilio Inc., concluded: “This is an industry that is on the brink of a transformation, and the energy and ideas driving this change are very exciting and inspirational to be part of.

“FM EXPO is a fantastic platform for innovative players to get together, and we’re hoping to be inspired by emerging ideas at the event,” the Facilio Founder concluded.

Over 70% of last year's attendees planned to return to this edition, which is organised by dmg events and will run at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 17 - 19 September 2019. FM EXPO is co-located with The Hotel Show. The event is sponsored by Inspire Integrated, Serve U and Tafawuq Facility Management.
