Inaugural H20 awards attracts nominations from across the MENA region.

The inaugural H20 Water Awards has attracted tremendous support from the region’s water industry. Key participating organisations (nominees and attendees) include Ministry of Environment & Water, Dubai Chamber of Commerce, DEWA, Gulf Water Council, EGBC, Palm Utilities, ASHRAE, Degremont, CH2MHILL, MWH, Drake & Scull, Dow, Tanqia, Siemens, GE, ABB, Concorde-Corodex, KEMA Consultants and Aqualia.

The Inaugural H20 Water Awards will be held at The Atlantis Palm Jumeirah on Thursday November 25th 2010. These awards will celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals and organisations driving innovation and sustainability in the MENA region’s water.

The H20 Water Awards are being organised by CPI Industry, a leading B2B publishing and events company, based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). CPI Industry’s publication portfolio includes Climate Control Middle East, H20, Megawhat, The Climate Control Guide & Directory and The H20 Buyer’s Guide. Its event credits include The Annual Climate Control Conference, Sustainability Series, and DC Dialogue.

The Awards will be presented to outstanding nominations in the following categories, namely Best Water Project; Best Waste-Water Project; Innovative Use / Application of Technology; Water Efficiency Leader; Build Water and Water Communications & Marketing.

The event sponsors are Al Hijaz Eagle Electromechanical and Veolia Water Solutions; KMPG is the knowledge partner. The event is supported by AEC online, Zawya, Fresh2o and University of Surrey.
