Jean Luc Rolland has recently joined HIMOINSA as Senior Project Manager in the Middle East where he will be working on special projects originating both there and in East Africa. An electrical engineer, Luc Rolland has a proven track record of 15 years in the energy generation industry and has worked in the After Sales area and the Special Projects division in various companies. He boasts experience in important projects in the Middle East.

The Middle East offers enormous growth potential. In 2012, demand for generator sets with output of over 375 kVA represented 66% of gensets imported to the Middle East and this figure is rising given the constant development of special projects in the region. “Large projects in the Middle East are mainly located in Saudi Arabia and UAE. Oman is another emerging market while Qatar is currently involved in building major infrastructure ahead of the 2022 World Cup”, noted Jean Luc.

HIMOINSA Sales & Marketing director, Guillermo Elum, stated that “hiring a Senior Project Manager at our Dubai subsidiary will help boost the day-to-day efforts of our distributors and reduce the response time between the factory and the market”.
