In order to answer the growing demand for plywood and the development of new applications, his son Guy Joubert decided to import Okoume logs from Gabon. In the 90s, the Group took on a new dimension with the acquisition of a rival entity in France and the creation in 2002 of a peeling unit in Gabon called CPBG, in partnership with a major forester, CBG.
Born from this long industrial family tradition, the Joubert Group today, run by Thierry Joubert, is renowned on the international plywood market for the excellence of its products. Second European producer of Okoume plywood, the Joubert Group pursues a policy of investment and innovation on all its production sites.
