Mannai family has been trading in Bahrain since 1824. In those eraly days, the family traded in pearls, fine jewellery and real estate. Following the independence of Bahrain in 1972, two members of the Mannai Family, Mr. Mohammed Mannai and Mr. Darwish Mannai, joined together to create the "Mannai Trading & Investment Co. Ltd." with the aim of diversifying the family business activities.
