NORTEC raised floor system won in the category Upcycled/Recycled Products during Workspace@INDEX

During the Workspace@INDEX exhibition that took place at Dubai World Trade Center from 23 - 26 May, the NORTEC raised floor system has been announced as the winner in the category “Upcycled/Recycled Products”.

For the fourth time, the Workspace@INDEX exhibition was the framework for the award ceremony of INDEX Product Design Award, which is well-known throughout the GCC region already. More than 60 submissions were entered in 12 categories, where the aim was to determine the most excellent and innovative product designs for the residential and commercial sectors.

Mr. Christopher Seymour, one of the judges and CEO at Mott McDonald, was overwhelmed by the high standard of the presented products: “The entries this year showed more flexibility, more ingenuity and also an interesting use of materials. They demonstrate that striking design can also be achieved with consideration of ecological demands and environmental protection.”
