Kingspan Insulation is a Division of Kingspan Group plc and is market–leading manufacturer of optimum, premium and high performance rigid insulation products for building envelope and building services applications.

In November 2014 Kingspan Group announced the acqusition of Pal International. Pal International is to be assimilated into Kingspan Group's insulation division.

Historically Pal International and Kingspan Insulation have worked closely together after Kingspan acquired Kooltherm Insulation ltd, the insulation supplier for The Pal KoolDuct System. Initially Kingspan Insulation was only responsible for the supplying the rigid insulation for the KoolDuct pre-insulated Ducting System, but was latterly responsible for the marketing of the System within dedicated regions. Kingspan Insulation announced that they acquired the rights for the PAL pre-insulated ducting systems including KoolDuct with effect from 01 May 2007 for all geographic areas except the United States of America. In 2009 Kingspan Insulation Ltd expanded its operations across the USA and Canada and subsequently assumed full global responsibility for the System.

In the mean time Kingspan Insulation's operations globally expanded and KoolDuct Delivery Partners and fabric insulation distribution outlets were appointed across the Middle East. Similarly, Pal International has also expanded its operations in recent years. A manufacturing plant in Pune, India was also commissioned in addition to their earlier established manufacturing plant located in Dubai, to cater to the increasing market. Also, subsidiary companies, sales offices and workshops in Europe, Middle East, Asia, The Pacific and Africa are now in operation.

These developments in the middle east for both companies has naturally lead to the acquisition of Pal International by Kingspan Group, in order to expand further our global offering.
