The win comes hot on the heels of a brace of accolades at the Identity Design Awards held in October and the Arabian Property Awards held earlier this month, for its exceptional creative work and for their ability to embody the philosophy of their clients with the use of 21st century solutions to create unique community spaces combining functionality and aesthetics.

The firm, which specialises in public, corporate, hospitality, healthcare and residential, amongst other architectural and interior design disciplines have led on various projects in the region including the ground-breaking DT1, the Ellington Group’s residential property based in Dubai and the Marriott-branded Diplomatic Quarter Hotel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Both projects have been praised for their innovation and high standard of design which is sympathetic to the local environment.

“Although relatively new to the region (through the Dubai office), we’re already showcasing our wealth of talent in the architecture and design fields. This award is testament to our company ethos of adapting to the local environment to produce incredible designs that carry all of the hallmarks of Perkins+Will.

“This is just the beginning for us, as our award cabinet grows, so does the company. We are already working on a range of new projects which will ensure we’re back here again next year,” added Charlton.
