The Kingdom is booming hospitality industry drives big business to the Hotel Show Saudi Arabia 2015

As The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia 2015 comes to an end, organisers dmg events and M.I.C.E Arabia reflect on a successful 2015 and announce dates for a fourth edition of the event on 17th – 19th May 2016 at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events.

Christine Davidson, Event Director of The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia said: “We are pleased with the quality of visitors to this year’s event and the feedback we have received from them. The introduction of the Vision Conference has proved very popular and as the appetite for content and insight has clearly been demonstrated this year, we will certainly bring it back in a much bigger way for 2016. There are a number of other exciting initiatives planned for 2016 which will continue to increase visitor and exhibitor engagement and improve return on financial and time investment made by all concerned – providing hospitality professionals even more reasons to participate. We will announce these in the following weeks.”

Junaid Ganai, Purchasing Manager at M. A. Al-Mutlaq Sons Co. said: “We are one of the top mid-sized business groups in Saudi Arabia, dealing across various sectors. We have a new executive lounge hotel set to open 3 months from now in the city of Dammam KSA. The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia was the perfect platform to find most of the suppliers we needed all under one roof. I will be back next year with our restaurant manager to source products for the various restaurants we have planned.”

Attendee Khalid Aljack, Purchasing Manager at Millennium Al Aqeeq Hotels, said: “This is my second time attending the Hotel Show Saudi Arabia and I found this year more informative with the addition of the Vision Conference. Millennium has plans to open 20 new hotels in the Kingdom and we were able to connect with new suppliers at the event.”

Event sponsors and global brands Samsung and AlKamal International exhibited at the event and also presented in the Vision Conference this year, while sponsors LG Electronics launched innovative new technology products at their stand. Ayham Alolabi, HTV Country Business Manager at LG Electronics said: “The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia is a very important event for LG Electronics. This is our 3rd year exhibiting and sponsoring and we look forward to coming back next year for the 2016 edition of the show.”

The largest stand at the 2015 event belonged to Jeddah-based Stylis Hotel Solutions, specialists in customised interior concepts for the hospitality industry. Stylis announced at the Show that they will continue to expand in 2015 with a new 1024m2 Showroom in Dubai. Hesham Ibrahim, CEO at Stylis said: “We consider our style to be a mixture of modern contemporary with an oriental feel, however, the flexibility of our modular system allows for infinite choices to fit any space or area. The Stylis modular system has recently been installed in projects such as the Bay La Sun Hotel in King Abdullah Economic City for Emaar and Ramada Plaza Hotel in Jeddah, for example.”

He continued: “As regular exhibitors at The Hotel Show, Stylis will also once again be showcasing new and upcoming hotel concept solutions at The Hotel Show Dubai in September 2015.” The Hotel Show Dubai 2015, now in its 16th year, is the largest event for hospitality professionals in the Middle East and Africa, taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre between 28th-30th September this year: www.thehotelshow.com
