Truglins adding the colour and character to construction

A new range of colourful characters called ‘The Truglins’ have been designed and made by Rainbow Trugs in the UK and are set to bring practical help and colour to building, interiors and construction in the Gulf. These hard wearing containers are already being used in the UK in nurseries, play areas and homes as sand pits and ‘dens’ and since the recent additions of faces and lids (that kids sometimes imagine as hats), they are set to be a practical new carriage and storage solution for the construction sector too.
Steve Parker, international manager explains, “There is a growing need for colourful, strong and durable products that not only make moving and storage of products internally and externally much easier but by adding characters, encourage awareness in safety and tidier attitudes. Our Trugs are available in 14 popular colours and more characters but can also be produced in corporate branding, as we make them all ourselves. There seems to be increasing demand from the building materials sector for some of the larger sizes such as 45 litre and 75 Litres, since we proved that the new handle design increases handling speed, with less chance of hand damage or breakage. We added lids originally so that the Trugs could be used to store away toys and items and to help parents encourage their kids to maintain a tidy environment. Combined with the colours, companies have also found this to be really useful for product identification in storage areas. We are looking forward to introducing the ranges to clients and partners around the Gulf”
Paul Barratt, managing director of Rainbow Trugs added “ As we design and make all our trugs, lids and stands ourselves, we have made sure that they are all robust, durable, child- safe and as importantly, ‘colourful’. Faces and logos can be applied by us, though we often encourage adults and kids to create them by themselves, using our stickers or marker pens. We also offer scented versions including vanilla and chocolate.
Steve added “From a business perspective, our Trugs (or Truglins) are used as containers in a very wide range of industries and sectors, including building and construction, food and beverage, kids and nursery and various manufacturing , so opportunities to work with us are almost as numerous as the colours in a rainbow”
