workspace at INDEX will welcome up to 16,000 interior designers, retailers, project managers, buyers and procurement specialists across the four day event, offering outstanding business prospects to make new connections, network with industry influencers, enhance brand visibility and expanded distributing channels.

As always, workspace at INDEX 2016 will feature access ‘Retail Space’, the largest extension to world leading retail products that not only influence consumer behaviour but make the entire in-store process seamless, efficient and unforgettable. Exciting additions to this year’s programme include a presentation hosted by award winning designer Karim Rashid at the ‘Design Talks’ sessions, who will share his thoughts on ‘Sensual Minimalism’ and the Design Innovation Forum, a thought-provoking look at the challenges and opportunities of innovative design.

The workspace at INDEX Trend Tour will showcase contemporary products selected by independent industry experts - each product on the self-guided tour is highlighted either for its creativity, innovation design, sustainable qualities or technological advancement. The Trend Hub in cooperation with Scarlet Opus is a themed lounge area which will showcase ‘A Day in the Life’ concept, showcasing a home lounge, an office workplace and a ‘social hub’ represented in the form of a coffee shop/tea house.

During the show, the Middle East Interior Design & Architecture Awards will recognise and reward outstanding interior design and architecture projects across the Middle East and North Africa. These awards will be open to all interior designers, interior architects and architects for design projects located in the MENA region. Meanwhile, the prestigious Product Design Awards will honour excellence and innovation in product design for the residential and commercial sectors – open exclusively to workspace at INDEX exhibitors.
