Elegant, timeless and functional: The new IF-Design award winning Gigaset S670 and S675 with integrated answering machine offers a combination of high quality and cutting-edge design. These reliable and easy-to-use cordless DECT phones have an extra-large illuminated display (supporting 65,000 colors), a clearly laid-out keypad, intuitive icon based menus, and superior sound.

The intuitive interface, integrated calendar, address book and SMS functionality make the Gigaset S670 and S675 a simple, practical choice for keeping track of every contact and appointment. The Gigaset S675 IP offers users additional services and the added benefit and of being able to make inexpensive Internet phone calls as well as traditional fixed network line calls.

With a metallic chrome and matt black finish and novel "L-shaped" base station, the Gigaset S670, S675 and S675 IP will make a handsome addition to any home or small business office. These new S-class phones have an extensive feature set that will suit those with a fast-paced lifestyle. Such features include an address book that can store up to 250 contacts, and each contact entry can contain a name, up to three different numbers, an email address and a birthday. This new range of Gigaset phones can also send and receive text messages up to 640 characters long.

The Gigaset S675 and S675 IP have an integrated answering machine that has up to 40 minutes recording time. The answer machine can also send a detailed SMS to a mobile or external phone when you receive a message (service provider dependent) and messages can be retrieved remotely.

With the Gigaset S670, S675 and S675 IP, brilliant sound, a convenient hands-free function (with full duplex quality) and a standard headset connection make phone calls easy. The volume can also be adjusted easily on the handset. Furthermore, the Gigaset S675 IP is the first device to support High Definition Sound Performance via a broadband connection, which substantially improves sound quality and the user's experience. As with all hybrid Gigaset phones, the Gigaset S675 IP is easy to install without a PC, and users can alternate between fixed-line and internet phone-calls by pressing the green receiver button.

Thanks to Siemens' new ECO-DECT technology, and electricity saving supply units, Gigaset S670, S675 and S675 IP customers can expect to use up to 60% less energy in comparison to conventional power supplies. Also, the base station transmitting power is adjustable, and when the phone is docked in the base station, the transmitting power is reduced to almost zero. Furthermore, when multiple handsets are used (up to six additional handsets can be used at any one time), users can manually reduce the transmitting power, which in turn reduces the phone's indoor range by approximately 25 to 30 meters.
