Trikke, the eco-friendly and lightweight personal transporter.

 

Trikke, the lightweight personal transporter that has been making its presence felt across all trade shows and platforms as an Eco-Friendly choice, proposed the product’s viability for the hospitality industry.

Trikke ME has presented at several events including the Big Boys Toy Show, Arabian Travel Market, The Urban Transportation Conference and most recently the Dubai Airport Show. And across all platforms, the green transporter has proven its adaptability within the industries in question.

The Trikke UPT is a lightweight electric vehicle (16 kilos only) that has proven to be the "game changer" for personal transportation. With a motorized front wheel and dual rear brakes, the UPT reaches speeds of 30 Km/h and travels up to 30 kilometers per single charge. For longer runs, the Trikke is equipped with a hot swappable battery pack. Supplement that with the ability to add human power and the UPT becomes a socially responsible hybrid commuter vehicle with excellent mileage that is absolutely eco-friendly.

Trikke ME proposed the product’s integration potential at hotels and resorts alongside conventional utility vehicles that are being used currently. Trikke’s swift travel capacity over short distances coupled the low maintenance aspect make it an ideal and responsible choice for security and maintenance staff transportation by enhancing efficiency at all levels while conserving costs.

In addition to the utility integration, Trikke ME’s recreational rental model where guests can rent the ultra-light personal transporter for in-resort commute adds greatly to the entire experience while enhancing the property’s service offering. Trikke ME’s rental model is a customized application based on the hotel’s requirements, which besides being ecologically sustainable, results as an added source of revenue

“The need for environmental conservation is a recognized concern shared by all and follow through on the cause is the need of the hour. Developments towards the utilization of green energy sources are being made and it is our responsibility to adapt them. The Trikke technology besides reducing CO2 emissions, also eradicate noise pollution, which is of paramount importance in the hospitality industry. And besides the environmental factor, the low maintenance aspects make Trikke an ideal and responsible choice for security and maintenance staff transportation,” said Kamil Najjar, Managing Director, Trikke Middle East.

“The region has some of the finest hotels and resorts, but often guests do not get to experience them due to their expanse. Considering Trikke’s ease of use, which requires no special training, recreational rentals by hotel guests will increase the utilization of all in-house and allow the guests to enjoy the resort even more. The resulting ‘unplanned revenue’ for the hotel, makes this a viable and self sustained initiative,” he added.

Trikke utilizes a lithium ion battery, which powers its front wheel. Besides being electrically powered, the Trikke’s efficiency is superior even when compared to other personal transporters and hybrid vehicles.

As the result of an independent test, the Trikke uPT proved to be 12 times better than a hybrid car, 10 time better than an average scooter and 3 times better than other personal transporters when compared on grounds of, maintenance, energy consumption and being environmentally friendly.
