Al Jaber Construction commissions LOGSTOR to supply 20 km of pre-insulated pipes for Fox Hills project in Qatar.

 

Al Jaber Construction, the leading company for construction in the Arab World, has commissioned LOGSTOR, a global leader in pre-insulated pipes, to supply 20 km of pre-insulated pipes to the Fox Hills project in Qatar.

LOGSTOR will manufacture these pipes at ELIPS factory in Jebel Ali, which is a joint venture between the Emirates Central Cooling Systems (EMPOWER) and LOGSTOR.

Ahmad Bin Shafar, Chairman of ELIPS said: "We are proud to be chosen by Al Jaber Construction to supply pre-insulated pipes for this prestigious project and we are committed to meet the set deadlines. LOGSTOR was selected to provide a wide range of pre-insulated pipes for the Fox Hills project, a leading real estate project currently under development in Qatar for its long history in this field and the competitive costs from the company's factory in Jebel Ali.

Shafar added: “ELIPS has successfully supplied a huge quantity of pre-insulated pipes for several projects in Qatar and the GCC regioon within a very short time. ELIPS has emerged as a leading player in the pipe manufacturing industry because of the high quality of its products. The ELIPS management has decided to double its production to meet the rising demand for pre-insulated pipes not only from the Qatar market but also from the entire Middle East.”

Fox Hills, one of the most prominent projects of Lusail, which is being developed in Qatar on an area of 1.6 sq. km., contains parks, golf stadiums and water areas, as well as commercial, touristic and residential facilities, representing a blend of Arab Qatari and contemporary European architecture.

Bin Shafar added: “ELIPS is one of the UAE’s largest Pre-insulated pipes manufacturers inaugurated on the 20th Jan, 2010 in Dubai. The factory produces high quality pre-insulated pipes for district cooling, oil and gas, marine, and industrial applications.
