Danube reinforces its presence in Al Ain with a new showroom

Over the last few years, an upswing in furniture market in the UAE has been noticed. A recent report from Proleads, a leading UAE-based research firm, shows that the total value of interior design contracting projects from 2009 to 2010 in the GCC reached over Dhs 22 billion, with the UAE accounting for two-thirds of the total value of all projects.

Keeping pace with the emerging market trends, Danube a leader in construction, building materials and shop fitting industries, announced the opening of its new Buildmart showroom in Al Ain Mall on July 19th, 2012 to consolidate its market presence in the UAE.

The Buildmart showroom was inaugurated by H.E. Mohammad Saif Al Khyeli, Director, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Al Ain Branch). The event also marked the esteemed presence of Mr.Rizwan Sajan, Founder and Chairman of Danube Group and other senior officials from the organization.

Mohammad Saif Al Khyeli. “Danube’s presence has been affirmed strongly not only in the country but also the region. Conveniently located in the heart of the city, the new showroom in Al Ain Mall is spread across 15,000 square feet. The retail unit showcases the latest collection of items from a host of reputed international and regional vendors under a single roof including kitchen setup options, chandeliers, wall paper collections, curtains, carpets, luxury sanitary ware, venetian blinds, wooden flooring, garden accessories, home décor and soft furnishings such as quilts, mattresses, towels, and pillow covers, among others.

The showroom looks to tap into home owners by addressing their home decor requirements. The retail unit also has a ‘Design Centre', where customers can take floor plans of their houses and benefit from expert advice from in-store consultants.

The Buildmart showrooms are present in major shopping malls across the region and in India. In UAE, Buildmart has showrooms in Dubai Festival City, Ibn Battuta Mall, Bawadi Mall (Al Ain), Dalma Mall (Abu Dhabi) and stand-alone outlets in Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Abu Dhabi. Within GCC, Buildmart has two showrooms in Bahrain (Salamabad and Bahrain Mall) and one in Saudi Arabia (Jeddah).
