“We are looking forward to our participation at FM Expo 2014, one of the highlights of the year in the FM industry. FM Expo serves as a strategic platform to interact with industry decision makers, customers and potential business partners,” said Tariq Chauhan, Group CEO, EFS Facilities Services. "Participating at the event will boost our visibility and enable us to reach out to our customers and business partners including property developers, private and public sectors companies and individuals who are interested in FM services.

Moreover, FM Expo will also give us the opportunity to demonstrate EFS’s unique ability to address a broad range of FM requirements of companies operating in a variety of sectors. We are proud to be associated as sponsor of a high-profile industry event such as the FM Expo."

According to Mr Chauhan, the Middle East FM market continues to enjoy constant growth due the renewed vibrancy of the real estate industry in the region. The industry’s continued growth is evident from the high demand for FM services by the private residential sector, social housing developments and commercial establishments. More than USD 2.5 trillion worth of construction contracts are planned or under way in the GCC, while the MENA region, as a whole, is expected to have more than USD 4 trillion worth of projects.

EFS is looking to play a key role in this expected influx of projects as a larger number of projects are completed—making its presence known for its reputation of providing services with the highest technical standards, environmental practises and its compliance with sustainable delivery. Further to this, UAE will get special attention as investments will be made for the World Expo 2020 in Dubai. USD 100 billion worth of new projects are on the agenda for the Emirate.

FM Expo 2014 will gather key stakeholders in the region’s FM industry, making it one of the most important networking events for FM companies and professionals in the Middle East.

“The implementation of FM is a win-win situation; making business operations more sustainable and environmentally friendly as well as cost efficient and profitable. It is our aim to continue to empower our customers to be more profitable and efficient in their core operations while we handle all non-core services on their facilities. We are aiming to create greater awareness about our wide array of services and showcase our competitive edge in delivering integrated, sustainable FM solutions,” concluded Mr Chauhan.
