Launch of innovative new children’s furniture – that adult specifiers can understand!

The growth in demand for incorporating crèches, child play areas and other kids related activity areas in not just malls and nurseries but also some office buildings, has added another challenge to architects, interior designers and building materials providers. How do they understand all of the safety regulations, as well as incorporating furniture that kids will actually enjoy using repeatedly?
Well, the forthcoming launch of a unique combination of childrens books, where the characters have been turned into handmade rocking chairs and play chairs of the relevant characters, should provide the answers.
Designed for 3-7 year old, this range of innovative, eye-catching and carefully designed furniture, complies with all safety regulations and the more stringent toy regulations and is therefore safe as well as fun.
Zandra Johnson who created the characters and developed the range commented, “Fairytale is a completely new concept in childrens furniture. Traditionally manufacturers have often simply reduced the size of adult furniture, whereas our full size childrens rocking chairs and their smaller dolls chairs, have been specifically designed and manufactured to include not simply smooth edges but higher stability ratings, water based varnishes and scratch resistance performance”. Each chair also includes the book of the character and this has proved in other worldwide markets to not just keep kids occupied for many hours but also helped with language development and learning.
Steve Parker, who is helping to introduce Fairytale into the Gulf added, “Initially we are launching this ‘Fairytale combination’ with 5 characters and our website also includes additional kids and parents play activities, before more products and characters are added soon. These are fabulous products that will give interior designers, industry specifiers, child care professionals, parents and their kids, many hours of enjoyment. The quality of the books and stories has been endorsed by Fairytales inclusion in the Emirates Literature Festival in 2013, so we are hoping more Fairytale Furniture will be specified and used in the Gulf soon.”
