FM EXPO 2012 has seen the launch of the very latest in facilities management (FM) services and technology, as exhibitors utilise the event to access the regional and international market on site during the four day event.

Taking place at Dubai World Trade Centre, key FM companies, including Emrill, Khidmah and Liquid of Life, have announced new energy solutions and a broader spectrum of FM services.

“FM EXPO has become a key platform for launching new products and services within the industry,” says David Thompson, event manager for FM EXPO. “As a sector that is still maturing within the region, the event provides exhibitors with the opportunity to develop brand awareness and network with a regional and international audience.”

FM giant Emrill announced the launch of its Energy Services, a strategic partnership between Emaar, Al-Futtaim and Carillon to meet the increasing demand for sustainable FM. The new establishment aims to decrease carbon emissions in the UAE by 40 per cent as consumers in the UAE use 16 tonnes of oil per person per year .

Khidmah LLC, an Abu Dhabi based property services company, announced plans to launch four new FM services throughout FM EXPO. The organisation launched an air duct cleaning service and plans to follow with three more to cater to the needs of their expanding client list.

Liquid of Life also launched a new range of designer bottle-free dispensers, specially finished in gold, helping to eliminate the need to purchase bottled water, reducing administrative and operational costs associated with consumption in the work place. The luxurious bottle-free dispensers come with an environment-friendly message as the organisation aims to increase awareness of plastic waste and provide more appealing work environments.

FM EXPO will run until Thursday 8 November, taking place alongside The Big 5 2012, PMV Live and Middle East Concrete at Trade Centre Arena, Dubai World Trade Centre.
