Vanity: the beauty of marble meets the strength of Kerlite

Vanity is a collection of ceramic surfaces that feature the beauty of the most elegant, minimalist forms of marble. Subtle patterns, light veins and soft shading make up the designs of this collection, which has taken its inspiration from the stone used in the most inspiring examples of classical culture. Like for an Italian Renaissance sculpture, Cotto d'Este has searched for the finest marbles and surfaces, making the veins a subtle feature of the large thin slabs. The finishes available are: Bianco Luce, Bianco Statuario and Dark Brown, available in touch and glossy versions. Touch is another new feature this year. Presented for the first time at Cersaie 2018, this finish - soft, velvety and pleasant to touch - represents a new stage in the brand's continuous research into surfaces.

Bianco Statuario evokes the character of the stone typical of the Apuan Alps, with its chalky, crystalline white patterned with grey veins. The pattern is refined, almost an allusion, as in the most exquisite quality of the original marble. The bookmatch design completes this version with an even more refined, distinctive look. Traditionally achieved in marble by cutting the same stone into two mirrored slabs, bookmatch by Cotto d'Este is made with extreme graphic precision for a particularly refined look, synonymous with the highest quality and, for this reason, in great demand for the most luxurious projects.

In the Bianco Luce version, Vanity evokes a particular characteristic of Carrara marble, both dense and pure, illuminated by fine silver rays that accentuate the pure white background. Dark Brown, on the other hand, is inspired by a Spanish marble, featuring brown and beige tones and a characteristic cloudy effect. Vanity will be shown in the Kerlite 120x260cm and 120x120cm versions, with a new thickness of 6.5mm.
