M-ribbed sectional garage doors are engineered in Germany and assembled in the U.A.E
Hormann Middle East, the market leading industrial, commercial and residential door manufacturer has introduced its garage sectional door DSU with added beauty, safety and convenience. The doors come as a complete package that includes panels, tracks, torsion spring assembly, fitting material and an operator with hand transmitters, complying with current CE standards.According to Darius Khanloo, managing director at Hormann Middle East & Africa, “The sectional doors DSU comes with an array of options for customers to choose from to match the architecture of their home and enjoy the quality experience. All doors are equipped with a door operator that is virtually maintenance-free and provides the latest in engineering excellence.”
All colours are polyester-primer coated on hot galvanized steel with a wood grain embossment. The durable finish allows for minor scratches to be repaired without leaving any visible sign of damage, and largely prevents dust and dirt from settling. The outside of the door comes in any colour of choice while the inside is Grey White (RAL 9002), stucco textured.
Glazing can be incorporated to give the garage an individual look or match the architectural style of the home. The DURATEC® synthetic double glazing in Hormann’s sectional doors is exceptionally resistant to scratches even after repeated washing and heavy use.
By nature, steel offers unmatched rigidity and strength. For lasting durability, parts on the doors are galvanized. This provides corrosion resistance and ensures a long, trouble-free service life of the door and its components.
The unique shape of the door sections ensure there are no crush zones, neither between the sections nor in the region of the hinges. The door sections are urethane foam filled, reducing the loss of conditioned air and increasing energy savings. Finger-trap protection is on the outside and inside of the sections and along the hinges.
Thanks to its large-sized profile lip, the bottom seal can easily accommodate slight irregularities on the floor. Hormann doors come with a perimeter seal. For additional sealing, they even feature intermediate seals between the individual door sections.
For the users’ safety, security and convenience, all of Hormann sectional garage doors come with a door operator, photocell and hand transmitter. The highly sensitive closing edge safety device and the additional photocell protects homeowners from accidents and prevents damage to property.
