Located in Crevillente, A town situated in Alicante province, was the first national mechanical manufacturer centre of rugs and wall to wall carpets (approximately the 85% of the national turnover). From the historical point of view, our experience in the carpet sector dates back to the 20's, when the first Lledó family generations got involved. A+B Interior, S.L., is a firm that arose as a continuation of the SULTAN, S.A. commercial, which was established in 1951 by Mr. Salvador lledó Lledó. Nowadays, it is managed by Mr. Salvador Lledó Más.

In the beginning, we focused on the manufacture of spun esparto and hemp. Nevertheless, the evolution and development in time led to the firm transformation, concentrating on the weaving process and specializing in natural fibre products. At the end of the 60's we introduced our product in other markets. Nowadays most of our production is set aside for export, exhibiting our products in very world-known exhibitions such as Domotex (Hannover), TextilHogar (Valencia) and Chinafloor (Shanghai) during many years.

It was in the 70's that the firm strengthened its position among the most outstanding carpet manufacturer firms of the Spanish market, in rug and wall to wall carpets supply for big stores, hotel projects, carpet railway projects and all kinds of installations. Nowadays, our production (Wilton weave in electronic Jacquards) is focused on high quality carpets of jute, jute/cotton, jute/wool, wool and abaca fibres. The investment in design has also been one of our main aims in these last years, continuously following the latest trends and developing fresh and up-to-date designs from our very own design department.

From the productive point of view, in the manufacturing process no chemical components are used and, due to the fact that the raw materials are natural fibres, the finished product is completely natural and does not damage the environment at all. Therefore, most of our productions satisfy the OEKO TEX-STANDARD 100 Ecological Label requirements, a distinction conferred upon A+B Interior S.L. by AITEX (Textile Technological Institute).
