Al Gurg Leigh Paints has appointed Sunil Gudur as its new Chief Sales and Marketing Manager.

Decorating leader and manufacturer of protective coatings Al Gurg Leigh Paints (AGLP) has appointed Sunil Gudur as its new Chief Sales and Marketing Manager. In his position at AGLP, Gudur will be responsible for increasing the equity and presence of the Dulux, Leighs and Oasis brands in the UAE region.
Gudur has been actively involved in the paint industry since 2000, when he was involved in channel development for projects and institutional business with Kansai Nerolac, India, formerly called Goodlass Nerolac Paints Ltd. Heading the protective coating unit at Ameron, he transformed the division to make it a segment worth considering in a challenging protective coatings market.

Sunil brings to the company an impressive amount of experience in sales, marketing, project development, product management, public relations, channel development and human resource management. His role will add new focus to our UAE sales and marketing operations.
Before joining AGLP, Gudur took over Nerolac Paints, heading the Sales and Marketing of Sadolin Paints Ltd. in Kenya since 2005. Gudur has also worked with the Essel Group, one of the major industrial houses in India, Esselworld, Disney and Zee TV- the satellite television business.
Gudur holds a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from the Bombay University and a Diploma in Business Management from Sydenhams College in Bombay, India.
