Ancora was established in 1969 as manufacturer of mechanical equipment. Till the 80s, its activity was concentrated on the processing and modification of large system with high level mechanical contents, co-operating the most important Italian and European industrial groups.

Ancora starts realizing complete machines for the ceramic sector as it was located in the world ceramic district and it has soon gained a large experience in the quality mechanical production. Polishing units, squaring/chamfering lines, roughing lines, incision and splitting lines, cutting machine and water-jet machines soon features the production by Ancora.
