Association Pierre de Bourgogne (Burgundy Stone Association) currently totals some 30 members, professionals in the stone industry, including stone quarries, masons, sculptors, lava rock specialists, stone layers and cutters.

As France's first natural limestone extraction basin, Burgundy offers all the expertise of the stone and ornamental stone working trades. Burgundy stone boasts a number of prestigious references such as the Louvre where the architect Pei used it for the wall at the entrance and the Great Pyramid staircase, the tile, facade facings and a portion of the staircase of the Taipei Tower in Taiwan.

Burgundy stone can be used for outdoor and indoor paving, tiling, facade facings, chimneys, staircases, for private residences, hotels, as well as prestigious commercial and office buildings.
