BND was established in 2001, as a pilot enterprise appointed by the Chinese Government. Focusing on the core businesses including retail chain stores, distribution of building materials, household products & electronics, and commercial real estate, BND is striving to establish a transnational distribution system, targeted at becoming an internationalized company with competitive edges and sustainable development.

BND advocates Harmonious Environment, Conservative Operation, Standardised System, Cost Efficiency and Innovative Development as its first five operations and management philosophies. Based on these philosophies, BND is building three key business platforms - Retail Chain Stores, General Distribution and Commercial Real Estate.
