BÜMAG, based in Schönheide in the Ore Mountains, is a registered cooperative company. It is responsible for the central purchasing of material, production, storage, as well as marketing and sale of products. It also supports its member companies in all issues relating to finance, invoicing and technology. With 145 employees, it is the largest producer within the cooperative network. Today, a further 14 owner-led businesses are part of the cooperative company.
