Delta Faucet Company Named as 2014 Watersense Manufacturer Partner of the Year

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) have again recognized Delta Faucet Company, the manufacturer of Delta®, Brizo® and Peerless® products, as a WaterSense® Manufacturer Partner of the Year. This marks the third time in four years the Company has received this prestigious recognition for its commitment to water efficiency and efforts to educate U.S. consumers about the WaterSense program.

First recognized as a WaterSense Manufacturer Partner of the Year in 2011, Delta Faucet Company continues to support WaterSense labeled products and water efficiency by ensuring 100 percent of its bathroom collections offer a faucet and showerhead meeting EPA’s efficiency and performance criteria. These efforts, coupled with a coast-to-coast water efficiency campaign in celebration of the EPA’s annual Fix a Leak Week, helped the company secure its second WaterSense Manufacturer Partner of the Year recognition in 2013.

In 2013, the company expanded its WaterSense labeled offerings to include two electronic bath faucets: the Delta® Dryden™ faucet with Touch2O.xt™ Technology and the Brizo® Odin™ single-handle faucet with SmartTouchPlus™ Technology. Both lavatory faucets allow the flow of water to be activated via touch or hands-free proximity sensing and automatically stop the flow of water after a period of time to help users reduce water waste without changing their behaviors.

Additionally, Delta Faucet introduced new WaterSense labeled multi-function showerheads and hand showers, paired with H2Okinetic® technology, to provide the feeling of more water while using less. These shower products offer a special “High-Efficiency” spray setting to provide optimal performance while conserving water.

By producing and promoting WaterSense labeled products, WaterSense partners, like Delta Faucet, helped Americans save 271 billion gallons of water in 2013 alone—enough water to supply all U.S. homes for 26 days . More than 1,500 utility, manufacturer, retail, builder, and organizational partners helped WaterSense realize these accomplishments. Every year, a select few are recognized for their significant program contributions.
