Dubai Municipality to Present New BIM Regulations and BIM Roadmap for Building Construction

You are invited to register for the BIM Middle East 2019 Conference & Expo on 23 and 24 September and half day workshop on 25 September at the Dusit Thani Dubai, the region’s leading international, strategic level event on Building Information Modelling.

Organised under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Infrastructure Development with support of buildingSMART International and The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC).

We are pleased to announce further presentations by Dubai Municipality on ‘BIM Roadmap for Building Construction’ including new regulations for BIM, and Musanada on “BIM experience and utilisation at Musanada’.

H.E Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, UAE Minister of Infrastructure Development will be welcoming attendees and giving the opening address.

BIM Middle East 2019 Conference & Expo is the meeting place for all BIM stakeholders including government, contractors, municipalities, infrastructure, architecture, and civil engineering who will meet in Dubai to discuss key issues of BIM design and asset management processes that’s driving the industry forward. The high-level program includes international presentations from UAE, Kuwait; UK, Europe, and Australia.

An all-encompassing senior level program will cover industry transformation, government policy, initiatives, standards, case study applications, BIM adoption and implementation strategies, industry collaboration, BIM / GIS integration, design strategies, legal and contracting practices… and more. A separate half day workshop hosted by British Standards Institution on 25 September focuses on the new ISO 19650 Standard for BIM published this year.
