Interior designers of select Middle East hotels and luxury villas have the opportunity to tap into an exclusive range of UK contemporary wooden furniture through a new commissioning service, English Furniture Collective, dedicated to this market. The service is also available directly to discerning private clients.

English Furniture Collective has been launched by business partners Steve Parker and Jennie Madden and will focus on expert furniture designer-makers who have the capability to produce truly inspirational pieces to enhance and capture a particular interior style.

Each piece will be custom made through a standard commissioning procedure so customers can discuss appropriate styles, wood type and size of their piece. This flexible approach allows interior designers and the buyer to combine originality with influence, drawing on the expertise of the designer-maker and never compromising on quality.

English furniture designer-makers are acknowledged to be amongst the most influential in the world. The number of workshops in the UK is increasing because of the current trends of commissioning special pieces. This growing capability is the ideal answer to respond to a flourishing global industry.

UK-based Steve Parker, who has worked with the Middle East interiors market for the last 20 years, comments: “These are stunning pieces by some of the top craftsmen in the world. They currently lack representation in the Middle East and we are delighted to be working with them through our international interiors network.”
