Excitement mounts as the go-to event of the year for infrastructure professionals kicks off tomorrow

More than 32,000 industry professionals are set to converge on Dubai’s World Trade Centre tomorrow (21 November) for the biggest and most prestigious infrastructure and heavy machinery event in the region - Middle East Concrete and PMV Live 2016 organised by dmg events Middle East, Asia & Africa.

The new Za’abeel Halls 4-6 will be buzzing with 430 exhibitors from more than 40 countries occupying 15,000 sqm of indoor exhibition space and 7,000 sqm outdoor daily from 11am-7pm on the 21-24 November.

As well as providing excellent networking opportunities and the chance to view the latest equipment and industry innovations, there will be over 50 CPD-certified and free-to-attend forums, workshops and seminars delivered by industry experts, sharing their unique insight into advanced solutions and technologies for the infrastructure sector.

Other highlights include the Platinum Club, a networking service that offers visitors the heads up to ensure they navigate the event efficiently and connect with the right people. A decorative concrete area will demonstrate concrete being stamped throughout the four-day event, with inspiring results, while ‘Selfies at height’ will offer visitors the chance to take pictures of the show from a bird’s-eye-view, 27 metres above the ground.



As part of an action-packed outdoor activity programme, the ‘Excavator Challenge’ will allow visitors to pit their wits in this fun activity against the clock and the ‘Robotics in Concrete’ dedicated zone will demonstrate engraving on concrete.

Mr Ajay Mathur, head of marketing and sales at JK White Cement, based in Fujairah, UAE said as they gear up for the 2016 event tomorrow: “We are the world’s second biggest white cement manufacturing groups, supplying to more than 40 countries across the globe from our UAE plant and catering to GCC regions as our primary market.

“We have been participating in MEC and PMV Live since 2013 and have found the show to be very useful and beneficial in terms of brand awareness and promotion.”

James Meltz, Event Director said of the event, which is co-located with the Big 5 2016 construction show stated: “This has become such an eagerly-anticipated event throughout the industry.
