From our research maintenance and management of existing buildings arose as an area of concern in UAE. An increasing number of tenants in UAE are showing concern about maintenance state and management of the facility they are eventually going to rent. This trend is increasingly widespread and it is going to be an affecting factor for rents and prices in the future. Concern by tenants is well founded, since many facilities in UAE are designed and built to the highest standards but maintenance often fails to keep up to same quality levels seen for construction and finishing.
