Hansgrohe Honored Three Times with the Best of Best Label

Hansgrohe brand innovations made it onto the winners' podium no less than four times at this year's presentation of the ICONIC AWARDS 2020: Innovative Architecture awards. In the "Product" category, the kitchen faucet Hansgrohe Aquno Select, the surface range Hansgrohe FinishPlus, and the shower toilet Hansgrohe Lavapura ShowerToilet (only available for the Chinese market) received the "Best of Best" label.

This is the highest award in the independent, international architecture and design competition. In the same category, the Hansgrohe water management system Pontos was also honored as "ICONIC AWARDS 2020: Innovative Architecture Winner".

Even if the planned official award ceremony, which was scheduled for October 5 in the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich, cannot take place because of the corona pandemic, the Schiltach based sanitary specialist is delighted. "We are very happy about the award and feel honored to have received three 'Best of Best' awards. With these awards, the jury confirms our innovative performance and acknowledges our design process," says a delighted Marc André Palm, Head of Global Brand Marketing Hansgrohe. "We are incredibly proud of this, because with Hansgrohe Aquno Select and Hansgrohe FinishPlus, Hansgrohe is setting completely new trends in the kitchen and bathroom.”

The awards from the German Design Council, one of the world's most important centers of competence for design and architecture, are regarded as independent seals of quality of international standing for contemporary developments and design achievements. The awards are presented for visionary buildings, innovative products and sustainable communication from all sectors of architecture, the construction and real estate industry and the manufacturing sector. In several categories, an appropriate number of submissions are awarded the "Selection" or "Winner" label. In addition, outstanding submissions in one category receive the "Best of Best" label.

Hansgrohe Aquno Select - Wellness for Fruit and Vegetables

The Aquno integrated system — named after “aqua” and “unit”— makes it possible to experience a totally new kind of interaction with water in the kitchen; and thanks to its smart integrated concept, it features spray modes and functions suitable for any task at hand. For the first time ever, the laminar and shower spray modes in the pull-down spray are complemented by a third, flat and particularly gentle spray mode, which flows from the integrated base unit. The SatinFlow spray mode consists of many individual jets that form a soft and yet dense laminar flow. This means that food is cleaned much more gently, but also extremely effectively. With the multifunctional strainer included in the package, which fits exactly under the jet, the system ensures a simple and efficient workflow at the sink.

The new surface designs Hansgrohe FinishPlus make it possible to live out the sense of style in every respect and to create a bathroom or kitchen ambience that meets different and individual requirements. With this range of high-quality surface finishes for fittings, Hansgrohe offers a wide variety of design options.

The two popular Hansgrohe fitting lines Metropol and Talis E, for example, are available in five new colors each, as are a large number of complementary products from other lines. The metallic surfaces Brushed Black Chrome, Brushed Bronze and Polished Gold Optic are the perfect alternative for all those for whom chrome is not enough. The exquisite metallic colors skillfully combine elegance and modernity and create attractive contrasts when combined with both dark and light bathroom furnishings.
