Over the last 10 years our company has developed what we believe to be the worlds most efficient irrigation delivery system using subsurface irrigation and Ebb n Flow nursery mat. The system is a significant improvement on drip irrigation in that it uses capillary flow so that the soil can absorb the water at its own rate and not become oversaturated with consequent runoff and deep percolation. The system also is designed not to wet the ground surface, enabling the surface crust to act like a mulch layer and dramatically reduce evaporation.
