Large-Scale projects attract French experts to Airport Show Dubai 2017

Business France, the national agency in charge of the international development of the French economy will gather 13 companies on the French pavilion at Airport Show Dubai. The tradeshow is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, Chairman and CEO of Emirates.

With an airport infrastructures and equipment market expected to reach $100 billion by 2020, 250 million passengers planned for airports in the GCC, the region represents a strategic destination for French exporting companies. Grouped together in a national pavilion, French exhibitors will present their innovative and varied offer buyers throughout the Middle East zone.

French pavilion will be representative of the diversity of the sector organized around different business lines: design, construction, equipment, systems and services (air traffic and ground traffic control, airline stopovers, terminals).

Marc Cagnard, Managing Director Business France Middle East stated: “France has a rich ecosystem for the airport industry with major internationally-renowned groups, such as ADPI, VINCI, THALES to name but a few, and SMEs that are experts in certain market segments (Ground Support Equipment, lighting, ticketing or passenger information systems)”
