Mappypren D22

Description

Mappypren D22 is a flexible, open-cell polyurethane resin. In comparison with conventional polyurethane foams, Mappypren D22 has a more uniform cell structure which guarantees a better resistance to organic solvents and mechanical resistance. Furthermore, its peculiar conformation ensures a better draught proofing and therefore an increase in acoustic absorption. Mappypren D22 is also available in an adhesive version with water-based acrylic glue.

Fields of application

Mappypren D22 is suitable in soundproofing acoustic treatments less intense than Mappypren AU30. It can be used in compressors and air conditioners when a self extinguishing product is not required. Heat insulation can be made more efficient by adding a heat reflective aluminium film.
