Stopfire Bugnato Plate

Description

Stopfire Bugnato Plate is an impregnated, fire-retardant polyurethane foam resin with a textured surface (design 1, “egg box” type) to improve sound absorption properties. It is covered by a protective liner that is self-extinguishing and water, oil and dust resistant. It is considerably flame resistant obtaining the fire reaction class 1 in many conventional tests. Stopfire Bugnato Plate does not burn, melt or drip. When subjected to heat, flammable volatile products may disperse but the shape of foam does not change and the mineral structure remains the same. Stopfire Bugnato Plate is also available in an adhesive version with water-based acrylic glue.

Fields of application

Stopfire Bugnato Plate has been designed specifically for the acoustic treatment of engine rooms, compressors, generators, and ventilation pipes. Particularly recommended for areas that require CL1/M1 certification in the presence of water and oil splashes.
