Stopfire Plate

Description

Stopfire Plate is an impregnated, flexible polyurethane resin covered in a polyurethane protective liner that is self-extinguishing and water, oil and dust resistant. It is considerably flame resistant obtaining the fire reaction class 1 in many conventional tests. Stopfire Plate does not burn, melt or drip. When subjected to heat, flammable volatile products may disperse but the shape of foam does not change and the mineral structure remains the same. Stopfire Plate is also available in an adhesive version with water-based acrylic glue.

Fields of application

Stopfire Plate is excellent for all types of heat and sound insulation, it is particularly recommended for areas that require CL1/M1 certification in the presence of water and oil splashes. Recommended for engine compartments, generators, ventilation systems, compressors, boilers etc.
