Founded in 1948, Holzindustrie Pfeifer has continued to grow ever since. For 2007 the planned turnover of the Pfeifer group is 500 million EURO. Our profession is wood and we have stuck to this, following the motto "the cobbler must stick to his last".

The sawmill founded by Mrs. Barbara Pfeifer in 1948 as a cutting service, has grown under the leadership of the three brothers Oskar, Fritz and Bernhard Pfeifer into one of the top European companies in wood reprocessing with about 1650 employees at 10 sites in Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic.
